Bead Mills by KRS
Bead mills are used after pre-dispersion when a product needs a finer, more uniform particle size than a dissolver alone can achieve, for example in paints, printing inks and coatings.
The KRS range includes horizontal production bead mills, laboratory bead mills and flameproof bead mills.

HOW IT WORKS
The working principle
Grinding chamber
The pre-dispersed product is pumped through a closed horizontal chamber filled with grinding beads.
Bead motion
An agitator sets the beads in motion; impact and shear between them break particles down.
Separation
A separation system at the outlet retains the beads while the finished product leaves the chamber.
